IV84482: SMART FILL OFF CHECKBOX WON'T SAVE IN APPDESIGNER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• MAXPRESENTATION appears to be
  correct, but every time they open appdesigner the  field still
  shows as checked.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Add new field to Contract
  2. Add the new field to CONTPURCH app and Check Turn Smart Fill
  Off
  and Save.
  3. Log out and back in go to appdesigner and bring up the new
  field
  and uncheck the Smart Fill Off flag and save.
  4 Log out and back in and the Flag appears checked again.
  
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
  check reappears for smartfill off.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  flag should not be checked

Problem conclusion

• Fixed by disabling the Smart Fill Off checkbox in the properties
  dialog if typeahead is configured on the field.
