  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
Performance Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.

Problem summary


    

  • When one or more of STATS interval types are deselected, a DB2
DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-206, SQLSTATE=42703, occurs when trying
to access the Performance List table.
The error log shows:
Unable to execute SELECT APPLID,MAX(START) FROM
CPAHDB52.CPA_CMFPLST WHERE INTERVAL_TYPE IN ('INT') GROUP BY
APPLID
com.ibm.cics.dbfunc.DBUtilities¢ReadableDB2SQLException:
"INTERVAL_TYPE" IS NOT VALID IN THE CONTEXT WHERE IT IS USED
    at com.ibm.cics.dbfunc.DB2Host.runQuery(DB2Host.java:349)
    at com.ibm.cics.dbfunc.DB2Host.runQuery(DB2Host.java:343)

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The CICS Performance Analyzer plug-in has been updated so that
the invalid condition will not be added to this query.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.2 of the CICS
Performance Analyzer for z/OS plug-in for CICS Explorer.
