Error description

  • Allow Agentless agent to report hostname for the Managed System
    Status.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The hostame slot in events should contain the hostname of the
    remote system.

This APAR allows the Agentless Monitoring agent to report the
hostname for the Managed System Status. This results in
setting the "hostname" slot in events to the hostname of the
remote system instead of the hostname where the Agentless
Monitoring agent is running. This fix affects all five
    Agentless Monitoring agents.

Problem conclusion

  • Code was changed to have the "hostname" slot in events contain
the hostname of the remote system instead of the hostname where
the Agentless Monitoring agent is installed.
