IV83135: THE NEXT AND PREVIOUS BUTTON ON SIMPLEHEADERTABLE DOES NOT WORK

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Env: SCCD 76/TPAE 7601
  
  STEPS TO RECREATE:
  Recreate on SCCD:
  1. Go to Offering Catalog
  2. Click on View All Offerings
  3. You can see the Previous button is pointing to the wrong
  direction
  (which is supposed to be Next button)
  4. The Next button is supposed to be green but it's greyed out
  5. Click on the Previous button, it will take you to the Next
  page of
  offerings
  6. At this point both the Next and Previous buttons are greyed
  out and
  no way to go back to previous offerings.
  
  Recreate on TPAE only env:
  1. Go to app designer and export the library.xml
  
  2. edit the library.xml and look for the dialog with the id -
  "selecttkonrelatedrec"
  
  3. change the table to simpleheadertable so that the dialog
  looks like
  this:
  <dialog
  beanclass="psdi.webclient.beans.workorder.SelectTicketBean"
  id="selecttkonrelatedrec" label="Select Ticket"
  mboname="TICKET">
    <simpleheadertable id="selecttkonrelatedrec_select_table"
  selectmode="multiple">
    ....

  4. import it.
  
  5. Go to workorder tracking app.
  
  6 create a new workorder or use an exising workorder
  
  7. go to related records tab
  
  8. Under Related Tickets Table - click on Select Tickets button
  
  9. The dialog is displayed.
  
  10. Click on next arrow and nothing happens.
  
  This works fine on tpae 7.5.0.7
  

Local fix

• Change the section that uses simpleheadertable control to using
  table control.

  This works fine on tpae 7.5.X - it is only an issue with tpae
  7.6.X.
  

Problem conclusion

• Next and Previous buttons in dialogs that use the
  simpleheadertable (typically only in SCCD) work as expected.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  package:
