Error description
The KSY Agent does not supply the appropriate connection properties when the user specified a protocol other than IOR. Rather than use the appropriate protocol property tep.connection.protocol when the user specifies a value for KSZ_JAVA_ARGS, the software always uses the property value cnp.http.url.DataBus. APAR IZ7214 allowed the user to specify a connection string other than the default, but the properties associated with the different connection string are not used. RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Install ITM 630 FP5 TEPS/TEMS/WPA and SY Agent 2. Enable the KFW_ORB_SKIP_SSLCERTS=Y and KFW_INTERFACES_LOCAL=Y in the TEPS configuration file (cq.ini) 3. Start the TEMS/TEPS/WPA and KSY Agents 4. Allow the SY Agent to attempt to connect to the TEPS using the default parameters 5. Observe the following connection exception failure found in the sy_java (KSY Agent) log file http://endpoint.gcb-us-hosts.hostname.com:1920///cnp/client/ior/ CTDataBus::Manager == 56 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: getHistoryConfig request to the TEP Server failed. == 57 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to init history == 58 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to setup history config 6. Configure in the sy.ini configuration file the parameter setting KSZ_JAVA_ARGS=-Dtep.connection.protocol=http://endpoint.gcb-us-h osts.hostname.com:1920 7. Allow the KSY Agent to attempt to connect to the TEPS using the above parameter setting 8. Observe the following connection exception failure found in the sy_java(KSY Agent) log file (http://endpoint.gcb-us-hosts.hostname.com:1920///cnp/client/ior /CTDataBus::Manager == 56 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: getHistoryConfig request to the TEP Server failed. == 57 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to init history == 58 t=Thread-5 EXCEPTION: Failed to setup history config
