APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A filter is used in 'Transaction Summary' and the layout is
saved as, for example 'NewLayout' (Check Box 'Include current
filter' was selected). The filter criteria sample was
'Transaction ID=xxxx, JC I/O wait time avg>0.0003'. This layout
is saved via "Save Layout as" and subsequently another layout
was opened and the filter was cleared. Subsequently the layout
'NewLayout' is reopened, but the filter criteria are damaged
now.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • A customised layout with a filter is created and saved.  The
layout is changed, and the filter cleared.  The saved layout and
filter is restored, however the "Run" button is not enabled even
though the filter is valid.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The CICS Performance Analyzer plug-in has been updated with a
fix for the issues described above.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.1 of the CICS
Performance Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
