IV80324: MAXIMO ALLOWS A PR TO BE DUPLICATED AND APPROVED EVEN IF PR LINECONTAINS A DECOMMISSIONED LOCATION (7505)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Replicated in 7509 with latest available at the time of
  replication.
  
  Replication Steps :
  
  
  1. Go to PR --> Create a new PR
  - 1036
  - Company : ATi-R3
  
  
  2. Go to PR Lines ---> Add any 3 items.
  - Charge to Location : Air105 (operating)
  
  
  3. Approve PR 1036 --> Select Action --> Create PO (1102)
  PR#1036 closed automatically
  
  4. Go to PO --> 1102 --> Approve PO (PO Lines will have the 3
  items that
  we created in the PR)
  
  5. Go to receiving -->1102 -->  receive all 3 items
  
  6. Go to PO --> 1102 --> Close PO
  
  7. Go to Locations --> Air105 --> Change Status to
  DECOMMISSIONED
  
  8. Go to PR --> Pull up the closed PR 1036 --> Select Action -->
  Duplicate PR (1041)
  Approve PR (1041)
  - You will see that the Duplicated PR contains the PR Lines
  which has
  the decommissioned Location Air105 in it. However, Maximo
  overlooks this
  and approves the PR and you can continue with the purchasing
  process.. The expectations is that Maximo would display an
  error when trying to approve the PR.

  9. Conversely, if you try to create a new PR and add PR Line
  items with
  Location as Air105, Maximo throws an error and you are not able
  to add
  AIR105 location.
