APAR status

Error description

  • A blank or truncated screen is shown after the user session
    expires when using LDAP authentication.
    
    ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    
    When a user's session expires in Maximo, and they click on
    something within the system, it does not gracefully log them
    out.  Instead the screen "splits" showing the expired page on
    the bottom, and a cut-off login screen on the top. This only
    happens when using LDAP authentication.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    Login to a Maximo environment with LDAP authentication.
    Wait for the session to expire.
    Click anywhere in the screen.
    A blank or truncated screen will be shown.
    
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    
    A blank or truncated screen is shown when the session expires.
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    It should show the logout screen.
