Error description
Incorrect verification when moving assets in 7505 Environment TPAE 7505 - Problem replicated in 7505 and 7506, 7507 and 7508 (latest ifix) Replication Steps: 1. Go to Inventory- Item Master application 2. Create new Item, select Rotating checkbox, change the status to active and add it in 2 storerooms (I used Central and Hardware) 3. Go to asset application - Create new asset 4. In Details sub tab add a Repair location and the rotating asset created before 5. Create a PO with a line of type Service, enter the Asset number, line cost etc. Check The Charge to Store flag 6. Approve the PO. 7. Go to Purchasing - Receiving Application - Search for the PO number create above 8. Go to Service Receipts tab and click on Select ordered Services The Receipts complete flag on the PO Line is now checked. 9. At this point the field POLINE.RECEIVEDTOTALCOST has the same value as the Line cost of the PO Line. 10. Go to Purchasing - Invoice. Create an invoice for the PO, copy the Service line to Invoice lines. 11. Modify the line cost to a lower value than the PO Line. Approve the Invoice. 12. Now the field POLINE.RECEIVEDTOTALCOST has a lower value than the Line cost of the PO Line. 13. As the service is received and invoiced it is now time to move the rotating asset back into the storeroom, ready to be used again. 14. Go to the Asset application, find your rotating asset and select action - Move/Modify asset. 15. Enter the storeroom (Hardware)in the To Location field. Click OK. 16. At this point there is an error message saying the rotating asset cannot be moved into the storeroom as there are open Charge to store PO Lines. BMXAA0124E - There are charge store purchase order line items. Cannot move asset to inventory type location. === Product Manager reviewed this initiatlly and considers it to be a defect === === TPAE L3 reviewed and acknowledged this as a defect and authorized APAR creation ===
