Error description

  • Work Order Estimated Labor Hours/Estimated Internal Labor Hours
not calculating correctly when Job Plan is used either directly
on a work order or from a PM generation. The Internal Labor
Hours show 8 hours when selecting View Cost on Work Order.
    Steps to replicate:
    01) Log into Maximo
    02) Go To Planning > Job Plans
    03) Click the New Job Plan button to create a new Job Plan
    04) Set the Job Plan number to anything valid (e.g. JPTEST1 -
make note of this number for later steps)
    05) Set the Organization to EAGLENA
    06) Set the Site to BEDFORD
    07) Set the Duration to 4:00
    08) Add a Job Plan Task by clicking New Row in the Job Plan
    Tasks table
    09) Set the description to anything (e.g. Test task)
    10) Set the Duration to 4:00
    11) Add a Planned Labor by clicking New Row in the Planned
    Labor table
    12) Set the Task to 10
    13) Set the Craft to anything valid (e.g. CARP, Skill Level
    FIRSTCLASS)
    14) Set the Quantity to 2
    15) Set the Hours to 2
    16) Note that the Line Cost is calculated correctly (2
carpenters at 2 hours each matches the 4 hours set for the
duration - 4 hours total times 18.00 Rate is 72.00)
    17) Save the Job Plan
    18) Change the Status of the Job Plan to Active
    19) Go To Work Orders > Work Order Tracking
    20) Click the New Work Order button to add a new work order
    21) Set the Job Plan field to the Job Plan created earlier
    22) Set any other required fields as needed
    23) Save the work order
    24) Select the Plans tab
    25) Note the Labor table shows 2 carpenters for 2 hours each
with a Rate of 18.00 and a Line Cost of 72.00 (as noted earlier)
    26) Click Select Action > View > Costs
    27) Note that the Internal Labor Hours and Labor Hours show 8
hours (instead of 4) but correctly show the Internal Labor Cost
    and Labor Costs of 72.00
