IV68880: ENTRY OF SERVICES IN THE ACTUALS ON A WORKORDER ARE NOT UPDATINGVIEW COST?

APAR status

Error description

  • Steps to replicate:
    
    1. Go to> Purchasing> Company Master
    2. Create a Company with Type 'I' Internal
    3. Go to> Inventory> Service Items
    4. Create a New Service items add the above Internal Vendor and
    Change status to Active
    5. Go to Work Orders> Work Order Tracking (SP) (also happens in
    CORE WO)
    6. Create a Work Order,  Approve the Work Order.  Select the
    Actuals tab, and select the Services sub tab.  Press the Select
    Internal Service button
    7.After the Service Item has been added, enter an amount in the
    Cost field.  In this case, we are indicating that this Service
    Item cost $750 and Save
    8. Next add an Actual Labor in this case we?ll add a Labor
    with a cost of $65 per hour, and record 1 hour of her time and
    Save
    Now, to recap, we have created a Work Order that has a total
    cost of $815 ($65 + $750)
    Now, we can look at the costs on the work order, to make sure
    that they are properly recorded by selecting the action >View
    Costs
    We can see the cost of the Labor, but not the cost of the
    Service Item?
    
    Let?s further examine it by exposing (using Application
    Designer)
    the columns WorkOrder.ActLabCost and WorkOrder.ActServCost
    which should contain the values 65 and 750 respectively.
    
    As you can see, the Actual Service Cost field is not updated.
