Error description

• The z/VM SPE VM65544 introduces z/VM Multi-Target PPRC
  toleration. Due to internal changes in the error records that
  are generated by z/VM CP, the xDR code needs to be adapted
  accordingly.
  If the xDR update is not installed, xDR might send incorrect
  alerts to GDPS for PPRC summary events. Additionally, PPRC state
  changes might not be detected correctly.

Problem conclusion

• The xDR error reporting daemon (erpd) has been adapted. The erpd
  detects if z/VM SPE VM65544 is installed. If the z/VM SPE is
  installed, the erpd will handle the changed error records
  provided by z/VM correctly.
