Error description
TPAE 7505-When SR created from location which is having GL Account different than it's asset , the SR is getting created without asset/location. This error message happens when customer uses Self Service | Service Requests option
Local fix
1. Go to Application Designer 2. Select Asset application 3. Click on Asset tab and textbox in the Details section Textbox Properties: Attribute: GLACCOUNT Lookup: GLNAVIGATOR B: 2. Create a location Location: TESTLOC GL Account: 6000-200-000 C: 3. Create an asset Asset: TESTASSET GL Account: 6100- Location: TESTLOC D: 4. Go back to Locations application 5. Select Action -> Create -> Service Request 6. The following message is displayed: BMXAA5328W - The location and asset combination you have entered would default a different GL account than is currently specified on the ticket. Would you like to update the tickets GL account based on the new asset/location combination? Clicking Close will return you with no changes. 7. Click Yes or No 8. Click Ok, the SR is created 9. Go to Service Requests app through Self Service | Service Requests 10. The SR is created without asset and location N.B: The Yes/No button did not respond when selecting action to create SR in Locations application. If you go to the SR app, creating a new SR and entering the same location, you get the same Yes/No question. In the SR application, the selecting Yes or No works.
