APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A work order created based on nested job plan. This nested job
    plan has around 8000 child job plans. After work order is
    generated for all the job plans, now when you approve the
    topmost parent work order, system is taking around 15 to 20 min
    to complete this operation.
    
    Confirmed by Lisa M. Waugh--
    We've discovered that the Work Order Tracking (CM) application
    for Change Status is missing the option to perform the status
    change in the background. This would free the user to continue
    performing additional tasks while the status change continued
    in the background.
    
    Open an APAR to add the option to perform the status change in
    the background to the Change Status dialog in Work Order
    Tracking (CM).
