Error description

  • When a user session in an LDAP environment times out due to
    inactivity, you normally get a a message that the user has
    timed out with an OK button. When the button is clicked, an
    LDAP logout screen will pop, giving the user the option to
    return.

    With Release 7505, when the user session times out, the browser
    URL is - http://example:9998/maximo/ui/login and the start
    center is displayed. The timed-out user is still in maxsession
    and can create records. The Sign Out link on the command row
    refreshes the start center and doesn't perform the logout. The
    browser must be closed to end the UI session, but the user
    remains active in maxsession.

    This happens with both basic and forms authentication.

    To Reproduce:
    1) Login to Maximo 7.5.0.6 in an LDAP Environment and let the
    session time out due to inactivity.
