Error description

  • For user defined business models, any manual modifications to
the UI_MESSAGE_JAR resources are silently overwritten when the
generate action is executed.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of WSRR Studio 8.5.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When generating artifacts for a WSRR configuration profile, any
manual changes that are made to UI Resource JAR properties files
corresponding to a user-defined business model are silently
overwritten.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a defect in WSRR Studio that caused it to silently
overwrite manual modifications to UI Resource JAR properties
files. Instead, if manual modifications are detected, WSRR
Studio generates a new file with "(Generated)" in the filename,
in order to allow the user to manually merge the manual
modifications.

This fix is targeted for WSRR Studio 8.5.0.1.
