Error description

• If a target workspace has a historical plot chart based on a
  query with a substitutable argument and a link provides the
  value for the argument, statistical baselines will be
  calculated on the full result set instead of the filtered one.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• On the portal client, if a target workspace has a historical
  plot chart based on a query with a substitutable argument and a
  link provides the value for the argument, statistical baselines
  will be calculated on the full result set instead of the
  filtered one.  This is a variation of the problem addressed by
  APAR IV21478.
  

Problem conclusion

• The logic was changed to evaluate link filter expressions before
   passing them to the statistical baseline service. Special
  Instructions: Links used to filter target workspace plot charts
  must provide the filter value via a link symbol expression
  rather than by directly setting the target workspace query
  symbol.  The link symbol must have the same name as the query
  symbol for which it is providing the value.  For example, if the
   plot chart query specifies a symbolic filter like MyColumn ==
  $MYARG$, then the link providing the value must use Add Symbol
  to create a link symbol named MYARG and set its value to the
  desired filter criteria instead of setting the MYARG query
  symbol directly.
