    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of the WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V8.0
    and V8.5 Web UI.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The following error is seen in the WSRR Web UI when attempting
View->Concepts and the registry contains a large number of
    WSDLs:

"The user is not authorized to perform the requested operation"

    The SystemOut.log shows:

    000000f0 AtheneAccessI E
    com.ibm.sr.athene.access.impl.AtheneAccessImpl
    executeTripleStoreQuery GSR5000I: Captured exception [1116]:
    com.ibm.athene.exception.TripleStoreException: ATN0203E: An
Exception occurred whilst executing SQL Query representation of
    Triple Query [...]
    [05-03-14 15:20:17:701 CET] 00000117 AtheneAccessI E
    com.ibm.sr.athene.access.impl.AtheneAccessImpl
    executeTripleStoreQuery GSR5001I:

The FFDC shows an SQL statement containing a long list of hashes
    and the following exception:

    Caused by: com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException: DB2
    SQL Error: SQLCODE=-101, SQLSTATE=54001, SQLERRMC=null,
    DRIVER=3.61.65

Problem conclusion

  • The issue was due to the large single SQL query used by the Web
UI being rejected by DB2 because of its size. This has been
fixed by splitting the query into smaller chunks.

This fix is targeted at WSRR V8.0.0.3 and V8.5.0.1.
