Error description

  • Delete action from WSRR Business Space throws an error if the
    delete takes > 30 seconds. The error messages says "Deletion
    Failed: An error occurred while deleting the entity: Error
    message: The server returned an unexpected return code: 0"
    
    The server action actually succeeds but the
    RepositoryDelegate.js script used by the delete action has a
    timeout of 30 seconds which causes the error to be displayed in
    Business Space.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    When deleting an object from WSRR using the Business Space user
    interface, if the action takes greater than 30 seconds a timeout
    is throw in the Business Space widget stating, "Deletion Failed:
    An error occurred while deleting the entity: Error message: The
    server returned an unexpected return code: 0"". When this occurs
    the server action actually succeeds and the object will have
    been deleted.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The timeout value of the delete action within the Business Space
    widget has been increased to resolve the error.
    
    This fix is targeted for inclusion in WSRR v8.0.0.3
