APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When building the "USes" "USed By" and Vizualization
connections view, transactions and programs are incorrectly
included when the command is an INQUIRE.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The CICS Interdependency Analyzer plug-in displays program and
transaction relationships resulting from INQURE commands. These
relations are displayed in the Resource Connections View,
although they can't be considered as dependencies.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This APAR excludes program and transaction relationships
generated by INQUIRE commands from the Resource Connections
view, Used By view and Uses Resources view (as the dependencies
displayed in all views should be equal).
ResourceCICSConnectionsCommand,
SourceInteractionsForResourceCommand,
SourceTransactionInteractionsForProgramCommand,
SourceTransactionInteractionsForResourceCommand and
TargetCICSInteractionsForProgramCommand classes were altered
with statements that exclude INQUIRE PROGRAM and INQUIRE
TRANSACTION from search results.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.1.0.3 of the CICS
Interdependency Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer.
