Error description

• Environment:
  This defect applies to all supported platforms.
  
  Problem Description:
  After event clearing, when Netcool/OMNIbus sends a CT_Reset
  with with a display item URL containing character string
  'JAVASCRIPT', the SOAP request is rejected.  The URL is
  constructed by ITM/TEC.
  
  Detailed Recreation Procedure:
  Construct and issue a CT_RESET SOAP request with (keyword)
  ITEM containing characters 'JAVASCRIPT' anywhere in that string.
  This will fail with SOAP faultstring response "unable to
  extract client data from posted request".

Local fix

Problem summary

• OMNIbus CT_Reset rejected by SOAP for JAVASCRIPT.
  
  
  After event clearing, when Netcool/OMNIbus sends a CT_Reset with
  a display item URL containing character string 'JAVASCRIPT', the
  SOAP request is rejected with SOAP faultstring response "unable
  to extract client data from posted request".
  

Problem conclusion

• The code in the SOAP and HTTP receive functions has been changed
  to allow the character string 'JAVASCRIPT'.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
