**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository v8.0 using WS-Mediation policy integration with DataPower and also using SOAP12 endpoints. **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: WSRR Mediation policy integration with DataPower fails with SOAP 1.2 . WS-Mediation policies are not returned to DataPower correctly if an SLD has an agreedEndpoint relationship that points to a SOAP12 endpoint.
Problem conclusion
The code was changed to support querying for endpoints that are ExtensionEndpoints, and a new NamedQuery was added to the WSRR configuration profile to provide the xpath for the search. In additional to installing an iFix that contains this APAR some additional changes are required to include the new Named Query configuration file You can update the WSRR profile directly using the WSRR Web UI. To include the new configuration you need to follow these steps: 1) Download the new Named Query file. This can be done by using this URL: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/sr/v8r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom .ibm.sr.doc%2Ffile_containing_nquery_xml.html 2) Add the Named Query to your profile: This can be done by following the steps described in the WSRR Info Centre page: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/sr/v8r0/topic/com.ibm.sr.doc/t wsr_named_queries_config_load.html This fix is targeted for inclusion in WSRR 8.0.0.3
