Error description
Open situation Events do not persist in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal "Common Event Console" when the TEP client is restarted. RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Start TEP generate some events. 2. Verify events in SEC. 3. Start CEC, it should show the events. 4. Stop the TEP. 5. Star the TEP. 6. Verify that the events are not shown in CEC but are present in SEC. All events generated while the TEP is active will be shown in both CEC and SEC if you stop the TEP CEC will not retain the events.
Local fix
Problem summary
When opening a workspace with a common event console view, the view is empty initially, even though there are open events. New events do appear in the console if the workspace is left open.
Problem conclusion
Changed console data source code to return correct number of rows in the result set. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 6.3.0-TIV-ITM-FP0004
