IV43041: SUA V2 ACCOUNT CREATION PROBLEM IF USER ALREADY EXISTS BUT IS DELETED.

Error description

  • When I try to create a user account in SUA v2 I get an error
    message "is already taken".  From the attached screen shot, you
    can see that there is not an account by that name. Therre was a
    user by that name but ut has been deleted. .
    
    Business impact ( BusImpact )
    Unable to create the account\use the product.
    

Local fix

  • remove IsDeleted flag and reuse the username,.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue will be addressed in the next release of IBM Endpoint
     Manager Security Compliance Analytics v1.4.
    
    General availability Q3 2013 (release date subject to change).
