APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Japanese reource file is created using translatable
messages editor in WSRR Studio , the Japanese resource file is
overwritten by default resource file (Usually English).

Local fix

  • As a workaround, only the resource file is created manually,
converted to Unicode, archived as jar file, uploaded
configuration profile and added into archived resource
file.

who use a language other than English.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
When creating a new Business Model in WSRR Studio and clicking
Generate All WSRR Artifacts Studio generates configuration items
known as Web UI Resource JARs. These contain messages that are
displayed in the WSRR Web UI. Messages are generated for each
language that WSRR Studio supports. However, the messages for
the current language that the user is using are incorrectly
generated in English.

Problem conclusion

  • Messages are now generated in the correct language.
This fix is targeted for inclusion in WSRR Studio 8.0.0.2.
