APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1) Create a Startup script to logon to an application (details
  depend on
   system configuration; easiest to record). Example:
  
   setDefaultTimeout(60000);
   SetString("<applid>",24,5);
   SetCursor(24,25);
   SendKey("ENTER");
  
   WaitForScreen();
   SetString("<userid>/<password>",11,7);
   SetCursor(11,22);
   SendKey("ENTER");
   WaitForScreen();
  
   2) Select the script from the Startup script dropdown list in
  the Manage
   Scripts dialog; save the changes
  
  3) Click the "connection" button on the top of 3270 terminal
  emulator
  panel. The "Terminal session user credential windows" appears
  
  4) Click cancel
  
  5) The startup script will run and will use stored credential
  information if it is available. The script should not run if
  Cancel is
  clicked.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The portal client's 3270 emulator view will execute the default
  script when the cancel button is pressed in the user credentials
  dialog.
  
  
  If you change the properties of the portal client 3270 emulator
  view to "Fetch Values from a Query", close the properties dialog
  and then press the connection button a user credential dialog
  will be presented.  If you decide to dismiss the dialog by
  pressing the "Cancel" button the 3270 view will still run the
  default script assigned to the view.  The default script should
  not be run if the user credential dialog is dismissed via the
  cancel button.
  

Problem conclusion

• Added further checks to ensure the event received from the
  connection button is handled properly.
