    RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
    I was able to recreate this using the "Windows NT Physical Disk
    (610)
    Average Disk Queue Length attribute" according to the L2
    recreate instructions document located here:

Local fix

  • Do not check the "Chart Thresholds / Advanced options /
    Included in data bounds" option for charts based on scaled
    attributes.
    

Problem summary

  • An empty or partial bar chart may be displayed if a threshold is
    defined for a wide range of values relative to the data.
    
    
    If a Tivoli Enterprise Portal bar chart is configured with a
    threshold having a wide range of values relative to the data
    being plotted, and the "Advanced Options / Included in data
    bounds" checkbox is selected, the initial chart display may not
    show the threshold.  If the "Refresh Now" button is clicked, the
    threshold will be correctly shown.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The logic was changed to ensure that the chart axis spanned the
    full range of data and threshold values specified.
    
    
    The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
    vehicle:

Temporary fix

  • Do not specify thresholds having start or end values
    significantly smaller or larger than the data values being
    plotted.  Alternatively, click "Refresh Now" after opening the
    workspace containing the affected chart to cause it to be
    redrawn correctly.
