APAR status

Error description

• When KGL_MSG2_EVENTLOG is specified to redirect the MSG2 log, a
  TEMS on Unix will not start
  

Local fix

• No Workaround available
  

Problem summary

• On UNIX, the monitoring server will not start with
  KGL_MSG2_EVENTLOG specified in the configuration.
  
  
  When the command, "itmcmd server start <hubname>", is executed,
  it appears that the command hangs and the monitoring server does
  not start.  This is caused by the presence of KGL_MSG2_EVENTLOG
  in the configuration file.  The monitoring server actually does
  start but the command script does not recognize it.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to always write the startup message to
  the destination file that is monitored by the command script.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
