The Distinguished Name List dialog in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal client does not support UTF8 characters.Distinguished name values coming from LDAP in Russian are not displayed RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: List LDAP distinguished names that are stored in LDAP in russian characters. in the correct character set.
Local fix
Problem summary
LDAP distinguished names incorrectly displayed in portal client if characters are double byte. If distinguished names are defined in LDAP which use double byte characters , the names do not display correctly in the portal client's user administration distinguished name find dialog.
Problem conclusion
Fixed the Tivoli Enterprise Portal distinguished name find dialog so both single and double byte characters display correctly. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 6.2.3-TIV-ITM-FP0004 | fix pack | 6.3.0-TIV-ITM-FP0002
