  Abstract: Windows ITM 623fp2, xmlconfig failed to retain default

  Environment:
       ITM 6.23 fp2 windows
  
  Problem Description:
      During the configuration of an ITM Agent that makes use of
  Default
  credentials
      section( such as Citrix XenServer Agent), the default
  credentials
  are not carried
      over.
  
  
       Detailed Recreation Procedure:
       (1) Install ITM 6.23 fp2 os agent
       (2) Install Citrix XenServer Agent 7.2
       (3) From MTEMS config Citrix XenServer Agent
       (4) On the Default Credentials panel, enter the Username,
  Password
       (5) Proceed to next panel(Citrix Xenser Hypervisors),
  notice the
           default creentials are not carried over
  
  Workaround:
       (1)Backup file CANDLEHOME\TMAITM6\xi_dd_072000000.xml
       (2)Edit file CANDLEHOME\TMAITM6\xi_dd_072000000.xml, add
          <!-- <event_listening>none</evnet_listening> -->
   after the line
          <version>2.0</version>
       (3)Save the file and reconfig the agent

Local fix

Problem summary

• On Windows, configuring certain agents fails to retain default
  values.
  
  
  On Windows, for an agent such as Citrix XenServer Agent, the
  default property values are retained on
  the configuration screen.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was modified to retain the default values.
  
  The fix for this APAR is going to be included in the following
  maintenance vehicle:
    | fix pack | 6.2.3-TIV-ITM-FP0004
    | fix pack | 6.3.0-TIV-ITM-FP0002
  

Temporary fix

• Manually add the default values in the agent configuration
  screen.
