IV27849: UNINSTALL.SH FAILS WHEN COMPONENT 'IS' IS INSTALLED

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• uninstall.sh fails to properly list the products installed and
  also hangs when you attempt to remove component 'is' (ITCAM
  for Transactions: Internet Service Monitoring) on Unix or Linux.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  1) On Linux, install the Operating System agent and the Internet
     Service Monitoring agent.
  2) Run uninstall.sh
  3) Notice that the Operating System agent is not listed.
     # bin/uninstall.sh

Local fix

Problem summary

• Uninstall problems with "IBM Tivoli Composite Application
  Manager for Internet Service Monitoring".
  
  
  On UNIX and Linux, when the agent IBM Tivoli Composite
  Application Manager for Internet Service Monitoring (component
  "is") is in the environment, the uninstall process
  (uninstall.sh) has problems:
     1) It does not list all components that may be uninstalled.
     2) It hangs when you attempt to uninstall the "is" component.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to work properly when the "is" component is
  in the environment.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
