Error description

• The pdcollect tool does not collect the "logs"
  directory when  this is a symbolic link to a physical directory
  
   /opt/IBM/ITM/ # > ls -l logs
   ...  logs -> /tmp/logs
  
   Under this scenario the pdcollect generated file will miss of
   the entire "logs" directory.

Problem summary

• tacmd pdcollect fails to retrieve log files if the log directory
  is a symbolic link.
  
  
  The pdcollect tool does not collect files from the logs
  directory when this is a symbolic link to a physical directory.
  
  /opt/IBM/ITM/ # > ls -l logs
  ...  logs -> /tmp/logs
  
  In this example, the generated file will exclude the entire logs
  directory.
  

Problem conclusion

• The pdcollect command has been improved to properly handle
  symbolically linked logs directories.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
