Error description

• Environment: The Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS 6.2.2 on Solaris
  
  
  Problem Description: On Solaris the Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS
       kux_vmstat process can take a very long time to initialize,
  so
       the agents keeps running but take a very long time before
  data is
       seen on TEP.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• On Solaris, the Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS kux_vmstat process
  can take a very long time to initialize on machines with a large
  number of CPUs, causing a notable delay before data is seen in
  the portal client.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS has been changed to correctly
  manage machines with a large number of CPUs.
  
  The fix for this APAR is going to be included in the following
  maintenance vehicle:
