IV12830: DYNAMIC WORKSPACE LINKING IS BROKEN BETWEEN PRODUCTS IN ITM 6.2.2 VERSION.

Error description

• dynamic workspace linking is broken between products in ITM
  6.2.2 version.
  
  Approver: JP
  
  Error message:
  
  kfwitm081e The link target can not be found. the link
  definition might be incorrect or the target is unavailable.
  
  but when do  the right link and select link anchor and then
  select option works.
  
  if do right click and select option direct - it fails with same
  errors as just clicking the link.
  
  This happens when using ZOS TEMS.
  

Local fix

• Add this to osnames file:
  
  z/OS=OS/390
  
  and recycled the TEPS.
  
  This problem is fixed in 623 version
  

Problem summary

• Left-clicking on a workspace link between two products results
  in error KFWITM081E.
  
  
  When attempting to navigate a workspace link between two
  OMEGAMON products such as Mainframe Networks, CICS, etc.,
  left-clicking on the link button results in the following error
  message:
  
   KFWITM081E The link target can not be found.  The link
  definition might be incorrect or the target is unavailable.
  
  However, right-clicking on the link, selecting Link Anchor, and
  selecting the appropriate link works as expected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The error has been resolved by adding a new operating system
  name "z/OS" to the operating systems list.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:

Temporary fix

• In the CNPS directory (Windows) or cq/data directory
  (Linux/AIX), edit the osnames file, adding the following line
  after the line ?AS/400=OS/400?:
  
  z/OS=OS/390
  
  Save the file and restart the portal server.
