Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  
  Installing an ITM 6.22.02.00 component on a system with
  available free space greater than 2 terabytes fails with this
  message:
  
     ERROR:  cannot read command-line arguments
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  
  Locate a system with a filesystem with available free space
  greater than 2 terabytes.
  Attempt to install ITM 6.22 (any version) OS agent.
  

Local fix

• Reduce available free space to less than 2 terabytes before
  attempting to install any ITM component.
  

Problem summary

• Install fails with free space more than 2 terabytes.
  
  If the target system has more than 2 terabytes of free space
  available in CANDLEHOME, the install process fails with one of
  these messages:
  
        ERROR:  cannot read command-line arguments
  
     or:
  
        install.sh failure: KCI1027E "1000" kilobytes required for
        the package(s); only "<some_number>" kilobytes available.
  
  For the latter case, the value of <some_number> is 0 or
  negative, and depends on the true amount of available free
  space.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to tolerate installation on systems with
  more than 2 terabytes of free space available in CANDLEHOME.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:

Temporary fix

• Reduce available free space in CANDLEHOME to less than 2
  terabytes before attempting to install any IBM Tivoli Monitoring
