  ABSTRACT:             ITM TIP web service won't initialize
  KFW_EWAS_HOME
  not found
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Without the KFW_EWAS_HOME variable written to the pathsetup.sh
  script the following error may occur:
  
  org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path
  building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException:
  unable to find valid certification path to requested target
  
  Updating CANDLEHOME/PLATFORMARCH/cq/pathsetup.sh will correct
  the problem temporarily but will reoccur after reconfigure of
  the TEPS.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  Could not recreate in house.
  
  LOCAL FIX:
  Update pathsetup.sh at this location:
      CANDLEHOME/PLATFORMARCH/cq/original/pathsetup.sh
  
  With the KFW_EWAS_HOME value.  It should make the change
  persistant after a reconfigure.

Local fix

• Update pathsetup.sh at this location:
      CANDLEHOME/PLATFORMARCH/cq/original/pathsetup.sh
  
  With the KFW_EWAS_HOME value.  It should make the change
  persistant after a reconfigure.
  

Problem summary

• The Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP) Web Service will not
  initialize when the KFW_EWAS_HOME variable is not defined in the
  pathsetup.sh script. The following error may occur:
  
  org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path
  building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException:
  unable to find valid certification path to requested target
  

Problem conclusion

• Added the KFW_EWAS_HOME to the original pathsetup.sh to persist
  the export of the KFW_EWAS_HOME variable to the runtime copy of
  pathsetup.sh.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:

Temporary fix

• Modify the pathsetup.sh file in:
  
  CANDLEHOME/PLATFORMARCH/original
  
  Add the following 2 lines just before the TEPS_JAVA_HOME env
  variable:
  
  KFW_EWAS_HOME=|CANDLEHOME|/|BINARCH|/iw
  export KFW_EWAS_HOME
