  • SavedEngineMessageB objects may fill up the heap

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • If
- the recovery thread for WorkManager Based Navigation runs
multiple times concurrently and
- many messages from WorkManager Based Navigation are stalled
and have to be recovered and
- the amount free heap space is very low
then it can happen that the heap fills up with
SavedEngineMessageB objects.
This can lead to an out of memory situation due to heap
overflow.

This Fix prevents the recovery thread from filling up the heap.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This APAR will be included in WPS 7.0.0.5. An iFix is available
on request.
