IV07378: CANNOT ADD PLUGIN ASSERTIONS IF PLUGINS USING THE DEFAULT PACKAGE EXIST.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a ServiceRegistryGovernancePolicyPlugin class has been
    created in the default package within a WSRR configuration
    profile project then it not possible to add any plugin
    assertions to lifecycle transitions defined within that profile.
    Right clicking on a transition -> Edit Governance Assertions
    -> Plugin Assertions -> Add, gives no response and an
    ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException is reported to the .log file in
    the workspace.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If a plugin using the default package exists in the profile
    project then no plugin assertions can be added.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was changed to handle plugins defined in the default
    package correctly.
    
    This fix is expected in WSRR Studio v7.5.0.1
