IV07357: GOVERNANCE POLICY EDITOR DOES NOT DISPLAY CUSTOM FAILURE MESSAGES

Error description

  • Custom failure messages generated with Policy Message
    Translations of the Governance Policy editor can not be
    displayed due to the presence of a backup copy of
    SOALifeCycleDetailRights.xml (with a different extension).
    

Local fix

  • Removing the backup copy of SOALifecycleDetailRights.xml will
    display the failure messages

  • Unable to edit messages through Policy Editor when importing 7.0
    Workspace
    

Problem conclusion

  • When opening a policy file with policy editor, consider
    the situation that the project from Studio 7.0. Need addtional
    work, such as make it to a java project, unzip policy
    messages to src folder first, then can display failure messages
    in policy editor. It is targeted to be included in 7.5.0.2.
