APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It seems odd that we allow a user to re-order the columns
    and then just order them alphabetically after the situation is
    saved. If a column is added via the Add conditions button, it is
    possible to have columns maintain their order outside of
    alphabetic order.

Problem summary

  • Changes to attribute columns in the portal client situation
    editor do not persist if rearranged.
    
    
    Changing the position of an attribute column in the portal
    client's situation editor does not persist if a column is moved
    and the situation editor is closed and reopened.
    

Problem conclusion

  • If columns are rearranged the situation formula is now
    recalculated to match the order of the table columns that have
    changed positions.
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
