Error description

• I use  the fix  (provisional ) testing of APAR IZ84840 by Eric
  Akins
  
  I used itmpatch command  and  the command always  failed . The
  last lines of the itmpatch.log

Local fix

Problem summary

• itmpatch fails to execute the update_ver.bat file on Windows
  systems.
  
  When applying a Provisional Fix that includes the update_ver.bat
  file on Windows 64-Bit systems, the itmpatch program will
  terminate abnormally resulting in a error message to the user.
  

Problem conclusion

• Corrected the processing of the script options specified in the
  patch.ini file.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
