Error description

  • Starting in IBM Spectrum Protect Operations Center 8.1.14, in an
    Enterprise Configuration scenario,  configuring the Hub Server
    for a new
    
    Operations Center install can fail with a blank screen. The
    following messages are seen in the Liberty

Local fix

  • Turn off the Enterprise Configuration Manager setting in the IBM
    Spectrum Protect server by running the
    
    command ?set configmanager off?. After the Hub is configured,
    the ?configmanager? setting can be
    
    returned to its previous value.
    

Problem summary

    * The customer is trying to configure the Operation Center for *
    * the first time but when they log in, they see a blank page   *
    * and other pages contain a "cannot retrieve data" error       *
    * messages. The OC freezes and customer cannot continue.       *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * This problem is currently projected to be fixed in levels    *
    * 8.1.14.100. Note that this is subject to change at the       *
    * discretion of IBM.                                           *
    ****************************************************************
