Error description
Starting with IBM Spectrum Protect server version 8.1.11, it is allowed to copy data from directory-container storage pools or on-premises cloud-container storage pools directly to a tape copy storage pool using STGRULE ACTIONTYPE=COPY. If the target copy storage pool used to store container storage pool data also holds data from a legacy primary stgpool, the"BACKUP STG" process to copy standard legacy data can become very slow. In one example, it was noticed that only a few GB copied in a full day.
