IT35565: FILENOTFOUNDEXCEPTION BY AGENT FOR .KEYSTORE IN DISTRIBUTED INFORMIX HQ SETUP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This issue is also observed in Informix HQ 1.4.0.
  If User with Multiple IDS instances, setup agent on all
  different servers. If IDS is Encrypted with SSL security, then
  key store file is required.
  As DBURL generated at Informix HQ Server is passed to Agent.
  Same URL is being used by Agent, and keystore file is being
  searched on same path on host where agent is running, causing
  below error,
  
  Exception in thread "ServerStatusMonitor"
  com.zaxxer.hikari.pool.HikariPool$PoolInitializationException:
  Failed to initialize pool: Socket connection to server
  (10.xx.xx.xx:xxx06) failed. Check your server is reachable from
  this client on the host:port specified.
  Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Socket connection to server
  (10.xx.xx.xx:xxx06) failed. Check your server is reachable from
  this client on the host:port specified.
  Caused by: com.informix.asf.IfxASFException: Socket connection
  to server (10.xx.xx.xx:xxx06) failed. Check your server is
  reachable from this client on the host:port specified.
  Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /var/tmp/.keystore (No
  such file or directory)
  

Local fix

• Copy keystore file on same path or create soft link to keystore
  file on same path as on Informix HQ server host machine.
