• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The database backup operation on HP-UX version 7.1.11.000 fails
  with ANR4588E and other messages:
  
    ANR1360I Output volume
  /tsm/server/file2/tsminst1/file/02872456.DBV opened (sequence
  number 1).
    ANR4626I Database backup will use 1 streams for processing
  with the number originally requested 1.
    ANR4588E A database backup configuration might be incorrect.
    ANR1361I Output volume
  /tsm/server/file2/tsminst1/file/02872456.DBV closed.
    ANR0515I Process 3 closed volume
  /tsm/server/file2/tsminst1/file/02872456.DBV.
  
  
   To diagnose the error, complete the following steps:
  
    1. Review the db2diag log file. The log file is in the
  instance home directory, in the following subdirectory:
  
    sqllib/db2dump/DIAG0000
  
    For example, the log file is in the following directory:
  
    /home/tsminst1/sqllib/db2dump/DIAG0000/db2diag.0.log:
  
    The content is similar to the following example:

Local fix

• Install the IBM Spectrum Protect client API for HP-UX, level
  7.1.1
  Copy the all the files from the /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin64
  to /opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dbbkapi directory
