IT34154: OBJECT AGENT CERTIFICATE WITH INCORRECT FORMAT COPIED BY "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" ON OPERATIONS CENTER WHEN CREATING AN OBJECT

Error description

  • After completing the wizard to create an object client on
    Operations Center, the page with "Important Setup Information"
    will be shown, including the access key ID, secret access key,
    endpoint and the agent certificate. When clicking the button
    "Copy to Clipboard" on this page, the agent certificate with
    incorrect format is copied. This will cause a failure due to
    certificate error when adding a Repository server on Spectrum
    Protect Plus server by directly pasting this certificate.

    This issue only occurs on Operations Center version 8.1.10 and
    later. Prior to version 8.1.10, only the access key ID, secret
    access key and endpoint is copied via "Copy to Clipboard", so
    the agent certificate can be copied separately with correct
    format.

  • Copy the agent certificate via "View Certificate" on the page
    "Important Setup Information" when completing the wizard to
    create an object client.
