Error description

  • Although the Data Collectors panel shows a status of Connected
    (green checkmark), the data collection for some of the storage
    devices was listed as degraded. Further investigation showed
    that although the probe was successful and alerts generated,
    the performance monitor could not send data from the Data
    Collector to the Storage Insights server. Running the
    configureproxy script did not report any connection problems.
    The proxy server was inadvertently blocking anything from
    ib.ibmserviceengage.com.
    
    The performance monitor was running
    with problems because the data could not be collected in time.
