Error description

  • The server may issue ANR8591W with incorrect driver version
"0.0.0" on startup even though the higher level of lin_tape
    driver is installed.

    ---
ANR8591W The storage area network (SAN) discovery function might
fail to discover a tape drive with the current IBM tape device
driver version: 0.0.0. A driver at version 3.0.20 or later is
required to support the SAN discovery function.
    ---

This issue can occur when both Spectrum Protect device driver
and lin_tape driver are installed for non-IBM changer and IBM
tape devices. The problem is that the sandiscovery gets the
driver version from lin_tape driver file of /proc/scsi/IBMtape.
But the sandiscovery still checks lin_tape driver changer file.
    It is incorrect.
