APAR status

Error description

  • When containers are added to the reclamation work queue and
    further processing occurs against those containers before the
    container reclamation thread processes them one of the two
    things below can happen leading to the worker reclaim
    containers process failing with an ANR0985I message:
    
    ANR0985I
    Process N for Reclaim Containers (Worker) running in the
    BACKGROUND completed with completion state FAILURE at 12:34:56
    PM.
    
    1) When a container placed on the reclamation work queue
    is deleted. For this case, a SCRECLAIM trace will have the
    following message: 'Move container for cntrid <cntrid> failed
    with rc 1116'
    2) When a container placed on the reclamation
    work queue has all of it's chunks deleted. For this case, a
    SCRECLAIM trace will have the following message: 'Move
    container for cntrid <cntrid> failed with rc 3323'. The message
    'ANR3682W Container <containername> is empty and cannot be
    moved' message may also be seen.
    
    In both cases it is also
    likely that the parent Reclaim Container process will also
    fail:
    
    ANR0986I Process NN for RECLAIM CONTAINERS running in
    the BACKGROUND processed Y items for a total of X bytes with a
    completion state of FAILURE at 12:56:34 PM.
