Problem conclusion

  • End-user can specify the Active Directory domain controller to
    be used to create the recovery database (RDB) using the
    configuration file of the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Exchange
    agent named "SPAgent_cfg.json".
    In order to mention the domain controller to be used for the
    recovery database, create or edit a file called SPAgent_cfg.json
    in C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM Spectrum Protect Plus\tools\exchange
    folder that contains SPCommonAPI.dll file.
    For example:
    {
        "TestFlag_TestDomainController": true,
        "DomainController": "dc2.organization.com"
    }
    Then save the file, and repeat the Granular Restore operation.
    The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Exchange agent will use the
    specified domain controller to create the recovery database.
